Up and off to the Champagne region, the one place we both wanted to see in France. We drove down the green routes rather than the motorway, making sure to give Reims a wide berth rather than get lost going through, as we were heading to St Dizier another recommended site. This one isn’t built on and is lovely. Spent the rest of the day lazing around, marvelling at how cheap the wine is.
